Service and Maintenance We are called out to air conditioning systems that are not cooling. Our engineers have reported the causes to be rubbish blocking the condensers, a lorry has reversed into the condenser and in the main blocked filters or worse blocked evaporator coils because of missing filters. The most common fault is water leaking. Caused by : - Faulty or dirty condensate pumps and drains. Blocked filters cause the system to ice up. Low on gas cause the system to ice up. Thermostats set below 20'C cause the system to ice up. Does your air conditioning system need a service?
When were your filters and condensate drain last checked or cleaned? Maintenance Agreements for 12 months includes one site visit per year to carry out maintenance work, you will need to check and clean your filters when they become dirty. Should your equipment fail between maintenance visits then an engineer will be sent to you normally the same day, this is charged at our discounted rates as an extra to the agreement.
